An audit of the Sunshine Coast Council’s MTB and walking trails focused on trail condition, user safety, user experience, and the value of the trails to the overall trail network. We utilized our trail auditing App to perform the trail audits which streamlined the data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
Council was able to integrate the audit outcomes directly into their asset management system as we were able to match the asset condition assessment criteria used in the App with Council’s criteria.
Council is now using the audit outcomes to develop a maintenance program and to secure ongoing trail management funding.
